Three Mixpo Partner Campaigns Named Digiday Video Awards Finalists
We are thrilled that three of our client’s campaigns are finalists for the 2014 Digiday Video Awards! The Digiday Video Awards honor overall excellence and breakthrough achievement in video media, marketing and advertising and it is truly an honor to be make the list.
In partnership with Trial Retail Media and Saatchi X, the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor ad is a finalist in the Best In-Banner Video Ad category.
Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor eCommerce Ad: Gillette was one of the first advertisers to participate in Walmart’s ecommerce ad units powered by Triad Retail Media and Mixpo. The right placement, a shortened path to purchase, and compelling content proved to be a winning combination for Gillette’s new Fusion ProGlide Razor.
In the Best In-Stream Video Ad category, we had two finalists: The Passport to Texas Campaign created for Texas Tourism by CBS Interactive, Mixpo and Slingshot; and The Other Side of Lexus Campaign created by Microsoft, Mixpo and Team One.
Passport to Texas Campaign: This interactive video campaign encouraged tourists to explore Texas through three different in-stream ad experiences, each focusing on one theme: Music, Outdoors, and Cowboy. This campaign beat performance metrics including over a million user interactions and 34.69% user interaction rate - four times the 8.91% benchmark. For Texas Tourism, matching top notch compelling creative with a high performing video ad unit was a winning combination.
The Other Side of Lexus: To increase awareness of the F Series, Lexus and their partners Microsoft, Mixpo and Team One chose an interactive video ad chalk full of heart pounding content. In all, the unit included 13 videos (including commercials, episodes, and GoPro footage), 30 gallery images and 30 interactive elements. The online video ad played a crucial role for Lexus to extend the impact of their integrated campaign.
