Charlie is a strategic and resonant leader with over 30 years of industry and management experience at start-ups, large corporations, and joint ventures. Prior to becoming Mixpo President and CEO, Charlie served on the Mixpo Board of Directors for two years. He was also the CEO of Friend MTS, a UK based video content security company.
Charlie held management positions at MSNBC Interactive News (msnbc.com), the last eight as President and CEO of the former joint venture between Microsoft and NBC News. At MSNBC Interactive News, Charlie led the portfolio of news web properties to industry leading levels of profitability, audience reach, product innovation, and editorial excellence. As an organizational leader, he fostered the development of a high integrity company culture known for its transparency and respect for all employees.
Prior to MSNBC, Charlie led corporate development for Primary Health, Inc., a venture-backed health care company; served in a variety of management positions at Micron Technology, Inc.; and began his career in a start-up software company, Learned-Mahn, Inc., where he held sales and marketing positions.
A member of the Online Publishers Association for 11 years, Charlie served as Chairman from 2009 – 2011. Charlie holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University.
Erin Martin leads Mixpo's customer experience, where she is charged with building the team, process, and operations structure to further Mixpo’s promise of best-in-class service.
Martin joined Mixpo in May of 2011 as a product marketing manager and has spent the last six years growing with the company, most recently leading demand generation, communication, and corporate marketing as Director of Marketing. She brings over 10 years of marketing experience in the digital space, and helped Mixpo earn a place as one of Forbes Most Promising Companies and win the IAB Rising Star Award two years in a row. Martin graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 and lives in Seattle with her husband and daughter.
Adam Noble is Vice President of Marketing at Mixpo, where he is responsible for the company’s brand, sales, and product marketing efforts.
Noble joined Mixpo in January of 2015 as Director of Sales, and was promoted to Senior Director of Product Marketing and Sales Strategy in January of 2016 before being promoted to VP. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of a venture-backed social startup called Lifebox, which helped individuals and groups tell their stories by engaging in AI-powered or 1:1 Q&A. Before that, Noble was Hearst Television’s head of product marketing, where he oversaw digital ad products and sales marketing of the company’s portfolio of 30 television stations. Noble graduated from Salve Regina University in 2008 with a degree in Marketing and lives on his family farm in Massachusetts with his wife and three children.
Kyoo Kim leads all revenue-generating efforts at Mixpo, where he oversees Mixpo's sales structure, methodology, and processes, and plays a key role in informing the company's product and marketing strategies.
Kim joined Mixpo in November of 2015. Previously, he led Global Product Marketing for Media & Packaging at AOL. Prior to that, Kim was the Global Sales Strategy Lead for MSN in Microsoft Advertising Corporate where he was charged with guiding sales, marketing, product, and editorial teams to drive effective monetization. He has served as a Vice President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at NBC News, where he led the national ad sales and marketing team to successfully deliver innovative cross-platform solutions for more than 12 years. Before NBC, Kim served as Site General Manager and Director of Sales for the Seattle office of Belo Interactive after being one of the top producers in broadcast sales for the Seattle NBC TV affiliate. Kim began his career on the agency side, managing media and public relations. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
Justin Kistner leads Product at Mixpo, where he oversees Mixpo's product vision, and defines the company's product roadmap, development structure and methodology.
Kistner joined Mixpo in September of 2014 after his company, Shopignitor, was acquired by Mixpo. At Shopignitor, Kistner was Vice President of Strategy where he worked with clients to develop social performance marketing strategies and advise on product development. Prior to this, Kistner led product for Spruce Media, a Facebook sPMD media buying company. Before that, he spent 3 years at Webtrends pioneering social analytics for Facebook campaigns, where he was involved in many industry firsts, including developing a patent-pending content scoring algorithm. Justin is a graduate of the University of Oregon and lives in Seattle with his wife and son.
Arian Gibson leads Engineering at Mixpo, where he oversees the software development, program management, QA, devops, infrastructure, and IT teams, and is responsible for the technical direction of the Mixpo platform.
Gibson joined Mixpo in June of 2011 and brought 10+ years of experience in digital advertising and product development. While at Mixpo, he participated in multiple IAB working groups that defined industry-wide technical specifications, including VAST and VPAID. Prior to Mixpo, Gibson founded a company that specialized in the development and monetization of mobile applications. Before that, he spent several years on the publisher side at MSN - his last role was leading a global technical team responsible for building custom advertising solutions for MSN's top-tier clients. He holds an undergraduate computer science degree from the University of Washington and lives on Seattle's Eastside with his wife and two children.
Erik Meyer oversees the corporate finance, accounting, legal and human resource functions at Mixpo.
Meyer joined Mixpo in July of 2009 as Controller, and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in March 2012. Prior to joining Mixpo, Erik held senior level finance positions at several high growth technology companies, most recently at Safelink, a publicly traded biometric security software firm. Erik graduated from the University of Washington in 2000, and earned a second degree from Central Washington University in 2003.

Board Member
Matt McIlwain is Managing Director at Madrona Venture Group. He has been on the Mixpo board of directors since 2007.
Matt focuses on a broad range of software-driven companies and serves on the boards of several Madrona portfolio companies. Before joining Madrona in 2000, he was vice president of business process for the Genuine Parts Company (NYSE:GPC). He also was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, concentrating on strategy and marketing in technology-driven sectors and prior to that worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse. He is a board member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Washington Policy Center and co-teaches a course on venture capital in the University of Washington Computer Science Department. In 2011, Matt received the Washington Policy Center’s Champion of Freedom Award. He was also named to the Forbes Midas List in 2008, 2009 and 2011. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

Joe Timlin is Vice President of Investments at GrowthWorks Capital.
Joe joined GrowthWorks Capital in 2002 focusing on software and information technology investments. Prior to joining GrowthWorks Capital, he worked for four years with BDC's Venture Capital Group focusing on information technology and alternative energy investments. Joe has experience in technical sales and sales management with a United States based multinational firm, and has worked as a construction engineer in Northern Ontario. Joe has a BSc in Civil Engineering from Queen's University and an MBA from UBC.
Maggie Finch is a digital media executive and entrepreneur. She has served on the Mixpo board of directors since July of 2014.
Maggie began her career in traditional media, but turned her attention to digital media in the early 1990s, executing some of the first online marketing campaigns. Finch served in various executive roles for aQuantive, where she established the firm as one of the world’s leading ad tech companies. aQuantive was acquired by Microsoft in 2007 for $6 Billion, and Finch became general manager of Microsoft’s Publisher Solutions Team. Maggie founded King of the Web in 2010, and most recently founded and then sold the YouTube network, Creator Republic. Finch advises several startups and remains focused on helping digital companies develop winning products, strategies, brands and teams.
